Sitecore Rocks – How to start participating in the open source development
In this blogpost (see the video embedded below), I’m going to show you how to setup your local environment and how you can participate in the open source development of Sitecore Rocks.
On May 10th 2016, Jakob Christensen, one of the co-founders of Sitecore and Architect & Founder of Sitecore Rocks made the announcement that Sitecore Rocks 2.0 – Beta 1 was now open sourced.
From that moment on we could start participating in the open source development of Sitecore Rocks
With this video I hope I’m able to help some people out on setting up their local machine, since it requires some custom steps in order to get the solution to build.
If you want to know more on Sitecore Rocks, check out the Sitecore Rocks Repository on GitHub or check out the session that I gave at the Nordic Sitecore Conference in Malmo, Sweden on Advanced Sitecore Rocks
AND REMEMBER: Sitecore Rocks will make developers happy!
