Last week, I had the great opportunity to speak at SUGCON Europe 2025 in Antwerp, Belgium. It was an incredible experience to connect with so many passionate Sitecore professionals, and I’m truly grateful for the positive energy and engagement from the community.
My session, titled “Synchronizing Sitecore XM Cloud Content with Azure DevOps” was a fast-paced 15-minute lightning talk where I shared how we at uxbee tackled a very real challenge: keeping lower Sitecore XM Cloud environments in sync with production.
What the talk was about
In the session, I walked through how we built a CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps to synchronize production data and multisite configurations to lower environments in Sitecore XM Cloud.
This setup helps us ensure that our test and acceptance environments mirror production as closely as possible — which is key for reliably validating new features.
I covered:
- The architecture of our synchronization pipeline
- Common challenges we faced (and how we overcame them)
- Tips for setting up a similar solution in your own environment
- Practical examples of how this setup improves development and QA workflows
It was a short session, but I aimed to pack in as much actionable content as possible.
Feedback
I was amazed by the positive feedback and thoughtful questions from the Sitecore community. Several people shared how they’re facing similar challenges and appreciated the transparency and practical nature of the session. It’s always encouraging to hear that the solutions we’re building resonate with others in the field.
Thanks to everyone who attended, reached out afterward, or followed up with great discussions. The Sitecore community truly is one of a kind.
